FAQ

What is Life Youth?
Life Youth is an umberella term for all the youth work of Life Church. Formerly know as Queensgate Pentecostal Church, Life Church has been established in Burnley for over 85 years.

What is The Noise?
The Noise is our main event (see Fridays) featuring live music, multimedia, comedy and inspirational illuminating insights.
Additionally, whereas Life Youth is a generic term, The Noise is our identity. It defines us as a bunch of up-for-it young people determined to impact our world and shout from the rooftops.

How old do I have to be to attend a Life Youth event?
You must be in Year 7-13 which means at High School or College/Sixth Form. If you are 18 to twentysomething then you may attend any Road Trip and we also have some Life Groups and socials just for you.

Are Life Youth events supervised?
Of course! All Life Youth staff are over 18 and subject to Life Church's Child Protection Policy. We provide a safe and secure environment and ensure young people are supervised at all times whilst at Life Youth events. At big events (e.g. Fridays) our staff can be easily identified by their staff badges.

Do I need a parental consent form to attend a Life Youth event?
You do not need a consent form to attend a regular event (e.g. Mondays and Fridays). We will simply collect emergency contact details. However for some special events and all Road Trips anyone under 18 will not be permitted to attend without a completed form. You can download one here to print and fill in.
